✬ The game's first activity check is here. Remember it's just a check in; make sure to comment if you intend to stay in the game. Activity check will close on May 7 at 6:00 PM CST. I won't be giving out AC warnings, so anyone who has not commented by that time will be swept from the game.

✬ Thank you for your input on game and mission pacing everyone! As requested, mission will continue to be refreshed on a monthly basis. Old characters will have a deadline of the last day of the month at 11:59 PM CST to turn in mission threads. New characters who are apped to the game after monthly missions go up will have until the day of their app the following month to turn in missions from that month.

So say that Suzy apps on May 8. She will have until June 8 to turn in threads for May missions! However, anyone who apped into the game in April will only have until April 31 to turn in mission threads. I'm hoping this gives some flexibility to new players and allows people plenty of time to get their missions planned and executed. /o/

✬ And in accordance with this new rule, the mission turn-in for April has been extended until May 8 at 11:59 PM for you guys! Here's the mission link in case ya'll need it again.

✬ The news has been showing footage of a large fire that broke out in a vacant home in one of the residential areas of the Arcane District. The news story reports that there were no casualties, but also states that the two people responsible are still at large. Nobody got a good look at them, but bystanders believe they were both male. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a small reward in gold and silver for anyone who can come forward with more information.

✬ The news has also been rerunning a story about a dramatic and rather showy heist at a recent art auction. The "Tempestuous Tide" has gone missing, and the only lead the police have is a heist note signed by the drawing of a red dove. However, the heist has caused the authorities to open an investigation into the shady business dealings of the art collector who was trying to sell the painting, which has led to to a few arrests. Even so, the police are also offering a reward to anyone who can come forward with more information on the culprits.

✬ Due to the arson in the Arcane District, police presence there has increased. Be careful!

✬ In contrast to how rainy April was, May is very warm and sunny. There are more vendors selling flowers out of baskets on the corners of the streets than usual, and you may find that the flower shops of Glymmer are overflowing with customers the closer you get to Mother's Day. Happy spring!

✬ With the exception of this post right here or any other special circumstances, announcements will be posted on the first of each month alongside AC.

✬ Speaking of AC! The game's first activity check will run from May 1 to May 7, 6:00 PM CST. However, since you all apped in April and April was a short month, all you will have to do is check in for your first AC! There won't be a need to link threads for this first round; you all get a freebie month.

✬ And with that comes a very minor change in our AC policy: every new applicant gets an AC pass for the very first month they're in the game. That means if someone applies in May, no matter when in May they join the game, they won't have to do May AC. Their AC requirements will begin in June.

✬ Right now Glymmer is a smaller game with a slower pace, and because of that I do want to make sure the game's pacing jives with everyone's RP energy! Right now, I have it so that missions roll over at the beginning of the month. My question for the playerbase at large is this: would you all like more than one month to complete missions? My thought was perhaps I could make missions bi-monthly instead of monthly so that you (and your characters) have two months to plan and execute them, but I'd like to get your input on this! Please vote in the poll below to give me your thoughts on mission pacing for the game ♥

✬ Our lovely players Tanz and Chip have helped create a spreadsheet for keeping track of characters' amnesia names! Please feel free to fill this out for everyone's OOC reference.

✬ You may have noticed that some people are tagging their posts with their characters. Please feel free to do this with yours! If you do, format the tag as Canon Name: Character Name. I've already done a sweep and added everyone myself to all existing posts, so this is just an FYI for the future!

✬ Here is a link to the game's first event post. Feel free to mingle in the event post however you please, and be on the lookout for a brief NPC post on April 30 to close out the event! The NPC in this post will not stick around to speak with characters afterwards.
